Strait Music’s flagship location is home to our very own School of Music. Located just five minutes west of Zilker Park in Austin, we offer private, in-person lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. Private Lessons

Our private lessons occur weekly and are booked on a monthly recurring schedule with simple, month-to-month enrollment. We offer both half-hour and hour-long sessions to fit your schedule and learning style. Lessons are available for a wide variety of instruments, and our experienced instructors will work with you to build a personalized lesson plan tailored to your goals. Group Lessons

Calendar Events

We host a variety of student music performances, open mics, and other in-store events exclusively for our students. These monthly events provide opportunities for musical expression, collaboration, and performance experience, helping students of all ages build confidence, connect with others, and share their progress in a supportive environment. All events take place right here on our in-house stage.
