Legacy 855e
Bob’s easy-playing 12-strings helped put Taylor on the map, and the Legacy 855e honors one of his seminal models, featuring the classic Jumbo body shape in rosewood and spruce. This 12-string model offers a playing experience unlike anything else currently available in the Taylor line, blending the warmth, clarity and balance of the rosewood/spruce tonewood pairing with blooming overtones and waves of gorgeous octave sparkle. Players will appreciate the comfortable neck profile and string setup, which continues to distinguish our 12-strings as the gold standard of playability. This non-cutaway acoustic-electric is voiced with the X-bracing pattern that Bob used for many years.
Vintage design touches include a mustache-style bridge and straight-ear peghead shape, along with white binding, a three-ring rosette in green abalone, non-engraved Large Diamond fretboard inlays in mother-of-pearl, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, nickel tuning machines, and a gloss-finish body and neck.
