The Merit M-8S is an affordable, reliable AC power solution designed for any rack mount system that requires controlled power-up. Its primary feature is power sequencing, which powers on its rear outlets in three delayed groups to prevent the excessive inrush currents that can damage sensitive electronics. The M-8S features six sequenced outlets (two outlets per delay) , two unswitched rear outlets, and one unswitched front convenience outlet. It also provides surge protection and standard noise filtration to reduce radio frequency and electromagnetic interference.
